"Do you know what I am doing, babe?"
"What?"
"I am checking our budget."
"What for?"
"I am checking to see that we don't run out of money."
"And to see what we are buying?"
"That's right"
"And to make sure we aren't buying naughty things"
"What do you mean?"
"Sometimes people buy naughty things that they don't need, and then they don't have enough money."
